My name is Tanner and I paddle marathon and sprint K1, surfski, outrigger canoe, and dragon boat. I have raced nationally and internationally in K1 marathon, K1 sprint, and dragon boat. I started paddling 10 years ago at LCKC and that is where my coach introduced me to marathon racing in 2021. LCKC hosted the ACA Marathon National Championships that year and I had a lot of fun racing on my home course. In 2023, I helped plan and run the ACA Marathon National Championships as well as race. In 2024, I took a road trip to Texas to race as the only female athlete. I also raced the K1 marathon at the 2024 FISU World University Championships in Portugal. I currently work as a coach and manager at Southeast Paddle Sports.

Andrew has been paddling for the last 12 years and coaching for the last 6 years. He paddles all boat types, but K1 is his favorite. He raced at the ICF Marathon World Championships as a junior in 2018, and as a senior in 2023 and 2024. Andrew traveled to Europe to volunteer as Masters USA team leader for the Marathon World Championships in 2022, 2023, and 2024. He also hosted the 2023 ACA Marathon National Championships at LCKC and raced at Nationals in 2018, 2021, 2023, and 2024. Recently, he placed 6th in the K1 marathon race at the 2024 FISU World University Championships in Portugal. Andrew owns Southeast Paddle Sports, where he coaches athletes of all ages, sells Elio kayaks and Mazu surfskis, and trains as an athlete himself.
